Ashtanga Yoga Formation // Belgium, France, Greece, India

Training as a yoga teacher or recycling; increasing your knowledge and competency as a yoga teacher

The training courses to become a yoga teacher are made up of several units: A, B, C, D, E, and F

The training courses take place either: in Belgium, in France, in Greece or in South India (Mahabalipuram) –Tamil Nadu – 60 km south of Chennai/Madras).

It is imperative to have participated in the four first units and to have written a thesis* on the subject in order to receive a diploma (be qualified as) of yoga teacher at the end of the end of the training course. Each session entitles you to a certificate of participation.

The "diploma" of Yoga teacher allows you to teach yoga in all the European collectivities and to register in an official institution and/or association, and to obtain a professional insurance..

The Yoga teacher training is not only a deepening of you personal practice; it will also allow you to study the practical and theoretical aspects of yoga.

Having the experience of personal practice of yoga is of course necessary to be included in a yoga teacher training but motivation to teach is most important in order to transmit this art…

Yoga is a complete and complex subject so a yoga teacher has the duty to know the different yoga currents, the philosophical, religious and historical aspects. Anatomical and psychological knowledge are also important…
